Quartz Slab for laboratory countertops meet strict hygiene and chemical resistance requirements and are widely used as test benches in school chemistry laboratories and research institutions. Frequently exposed to highly corrosive reagents such as sulfuric acid, nitric acid, acetone, etc., ordinary quartz stone cannot withstand them. Our Quartz Slab for laboratory countertops is specially formulated with excellent acid and alkali resistance, which can resist the erosion of common chemical reagents in the laboratory. The surface has no porous structure, preventing bacterial growth and easy to clean and disinfect. The thickness is usually 30mm, providing a stable experimental operating platform. The colors are mainly pure white and light colors, which are convenient for observing experimental substances. Compliant with laboratory hygiene standards, non-toxic and radiation free, able to directly contact experimental materials. The edges can be rounded to improve safety. We can achieve seamless integration between the countertop and the side water barrier to prevent liquid leakage. In addition, air ducts, drainage ducts, and wiring ducts can be opened.

FAQ

Q: Can it resist hydrofluoric acid?

A: Hydrofluoric acid corrodes almost all silicon-containing materials, including quartz stone. If experiments involve hydrofluoric acid, we recommend using polypropylene countertops. Our product cannot withstand this.

Q: Can it be made into a central countertop with reagent racks?

A: Yes. We only install the countertop, but we can provide the necessary holes and pre-embedded nuts for the reagent rack base. Your reagent rack manufacturer can then install it.

Q: Can reagent corrosion on the countertop be repaired?

A: Small areas of corrosion can be sanded off and polished. However, large areas cannot be repaired. Therefore, we strongly recommend using a protective pad or wiping up any spilled reagent immediately.
