Engineered Quartz for Flooring

Engineered Quartz for Flooring

Wear resistance is the top priority for flooring in high traffic public areas. Our engineering quartz flooring specifications are usually standard sizes such as 600 × 600mm, 800 × 800mm, etc. Larger boards can also be made and cut on site, with a thickness of 15-20mm. The surface can be treated with anti slip and wear-resistant, with a rotation speed of ≥ 4000 revolutions per minute, suitable for high traffic areas.

The impact resistance strength is ≥ 10kJ/m ² and can withstand the impact of heavy objects. The wear resistance coefficient is 2-3 times that of ceramic tiles, and it does not absorb water and dries quickly after mopping the floor. The installation adopts seamless splicing technology to avoid joint contamination. The colors are mainly practical color schemes such as gray and beige. Suitable for public spaces such as shopping malls, hospitals, schools, and subway stations.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Which is more slip-resistant, quartz flooring or ceramic tiles?

A: Surface treatment determines the slip resistance level. Quartz flooring can achieve R10-R12, while ceramic tiles are generally R9-R10. We can achieve even higher levels.

Q: Is the installation method the same as for ceramic tiles?

A: Basically the same. Use tile adhesive or cement mortar. Leave a 1-2mm gap, and fill it with epoxy resin of the same color if possible.

Q: Can I install underfloor heating?

A: Yes. Quartz stone has a thermal conductivity of 1.7 W/(m·K), slightly lower than that of ceramic tiles, but the difference is negligible. A special underfloor heating adhesive is required.
