A: Don't worry, you can place it on top. We've tested it; even with a 200℃ hot pan placed directly on it, the surface temperature only reaches less than 50℃ inside, so it won't crack. Of course, just don't use a blowtorch to heat it. Normal hot pans for stir-frying and soup pots are perfectly fine.
Q: Will the white version easily show stains? For example, if soy sauce is spilled?
A: This is the question I get asked most often. Our white kitchen quartz stone slabs have a high-density surface treatment. Soy sauce, red wine, and coffee stains will wipe away without leaving a trace unless left overnight. But honestly, if left unwashed for a whole day, any material will leave some stain.
