Before bonding the quartz stone to the wall, ensuring the surface is clean, dry, and flat is crucial. If there is any paint or old adhesive residue on the wall, sand it down to a solid base. It is recommended to wipe the back of the quartz stone with alcohol to remove oil stains. If the wall surface is uneven, level it with cement mortar first, and proceed to the next step only after it is completely dry.

Bonding Materials and Steps

  • Choose a suitable adhesive: Epoxy resin adhesive or stone-specific adhesive is ideal, as it has high strength and moisture resistance after curing.
  • Apply the adhesive: Use a notched scraper to evenly apply the adhesive to the back of the quartz stone, creating a striped pattern to enhance adhesion.
  • Positioning and bonding: Align the quartz stone with the wall and press lightly. Tap it with a rubber mallet to ensure full contact, and use a level to adjust the position.
