Quartz stone dining tables and chairs have become a common type of furniture in homes and restaurants in recent years. Their core material is a quartz stone tabletop paired with a metal or wooden frame, and some styles also include upholstered seats.
The quartz stone tabletop is made of over 90% natural quartz crystals (silicon dioxide) combined with resin, pigments, and other additives, pressed under high temperature and pressure. Quartz crystals have a high hardness (Mohs hardness 7), second only to diamond, making the tabletop wear-resistant and scratch-resistant, and it is not easy to leave noticeable marks even after long-term use. The resin component enhances the material's toughness, preventing brittleness, and also acts as a binder for the quartz particles. The tabletop surface is usually polished to form a smooth, waterproof layer, making it difficult for oil stains, soup, and other liquids to penetrate. Daily cleaning only requires wiping with a damp cloth. The frame is often made of metal (such as stainless steel) or solid wood, providing stable support; the seats commonly feature upholstery, with high-density foam filling and a leather or fabric cover to enhance comfort during long periods of sitting.
